I have set a a PC with Recorder 6, updated to version 6.15.4.328 and installed several map tiles. As soon as I do anything with the maps  there is a delay of several minutes (sometimes a message in the title bar says not responding, but it recovers). Is there a way of speeding it up. The PC is not state of the art but its not that bad.

How many tiles do you have loaded  and which opertaing sytem are you on (Vista, Windows 7 or XP) ?  Possibly, adjusting the memory SQL Server is using may help,
