Re: Install and maintenance time

Hello all,

I am trying to compare running our own biological data management to outsourcing in some way.  If we go in-house Recorder is the obvious software tool to use.  Looking through the forum Recorder seems to be a complex system to install and maintain, so we need to expect to spend considerable amounts of time installing, upgrading and resolving issues.  We have got some server infrastructure expertise within the IT department and would probably set up a Recorder support agreement.  My question is: from your various experiences, how much time do we need to budget for both internally and for a Recorder expert?
