Re: Sample start time bug

The sample start time appears to be defaulting to midnight (00:00) - I'm guessing this is probably due to the SQL datatype.

However, I can be pretty confident that all of our samples did not begin at midnight!

Where are you noticing this ? The field does allow Null.

Re: Sample start time bug

At the moment, just when editing samples (haven't checked new samples) - I clear the 00:00 from the Start Time field, click save and 00:00 reappears.

For those that don't have anything in the Start Time field (and I don't change anything), 00:00 is added on save.

Re: Sample start time bug

Looking at it, it's probably Recorder forcing "nothing" to be a time? As it does if for e.g. 1 becomes 01:00.

Re: Sample start time bug

I have managed to do it now. Old records  show a null (blank). Input or changes make it 0:00. I can raise it to be looked at, but not sure that it is that serious.

But would take 30 secs to fix - if the text box empty, do nothing. If it has a value do something & convert to time. Simple?

Possibly. I will add it to the list of known issues.
