The Gateway and other services seems to have been down and unavailable all day so far - I started to try it at 7:30am this morning and it is now 11:36am and still no signs.

Unfortunately there was a planned power outage here in Lancaster, where the servers are located, that apparently got moved back by a few hours and took far longer to resolve than planned. Services were restored as soon as possible by the SysAdmins of the servers that we utilise.
