Update all the child samples and determinations to match the survey event's updated Location

Are we to assume that this is a "misprint", as determinations don't have locations? (Presumably caused by a standard text string)

Can you please tell me how you got this message. I cannot reproduce it by changing survey event dates in the observations hierachy.

Charlie is correct and this message isn't right. It occurs when the location is changed and the grid reference needs to be brought in line on the  Sample. The message should not refer to the determination.
