Hello,

Can somebody please tell me when we are using the NBN client tools what server/address we are connecting too? Its just that our firewall is blocking soap calls through the default port 7780. So I've asked our internet security guy to open that port but he needs to know what I am connecting too.

We are just currently trying out the NBN web services client and trying to get the Grid Map example working.

http://212.219.37.104/NBNWebServices/ws/webservice

But I'm confused about your discussion of ports - normally webservices communicate over stanbdard port 80 - thats half the point of them - to avoid firewall problems ?

Just a stab in the dark but if you are connecting via a proxy server (proxy cache issue?), you might want to look at http://www.thescripts.com/forum/thread395508.html and http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/ar … -soap.html for some thoughts :)
