I seem to have problems going directly to the new posts in any discussion, getting an error message

I am assuming that is either the result of trying to stop the spate of recent spamming on these boards (it wasn't me and I doubt it was anyone else that works here), although just checking that we haven't been hacked to try to get us to install questionable software.
