Re: New Recorder website is live

The first phase of the new Recorder website is now live. You can access it via the old link www.recordersoftware.org and you can now also get to it from either of the following links: http://www.jncc.gov.uk/recorder or http://www.jncc.gov.uk/recordersoftware.

There are all the old favourites (download latest versions of software, dictionaries and addins, links to the foum and wiki, updated supply/support/training information) and many more new features:
• info on using the map tiles
• key features of the Recorder 6 software
• history of Recorder and how the project is organised behind the scenes
• tutorials to view online and download
• user files to download (batch updates, xml reports - system/user supplied, rucksacks and recording cards)
• info on the species dictionary

More features will follow in due course eg section on proposed upcoming changes to Recorder, tables of bugs and feature requests, info on uploading to the NBN Gateway.

There is now something for Recorder 2000/2002  and Recorder 3 users which each have their own tabs within the website. Use the left hand menu to navigate to these sections.

Please post any feedback, comments and suggestions about the new site here or email the Recorder team using the email link at the top right of the webpages.
Hope you enjoy it.

Best Wishes,
Lynn
