Re: Dictionary update causing reports to fail

Our IT support updated the dictionaries for us this week. This appears to have stopped any reports from working, both using the wizard and any saved reports. The report wizard was working until the updates were applied.

We are running Recorder 6.13.3

Has anyone else suffered from this problem? And if so is there an easy fix? I need to get back to using the reports fairly quickly and one option is to restore to our working system from a few days ago, I would however obviously prefer to use the updated system.

Any help gratefully received.

Hi Martin
Just to check the obvious first - have you rebuilt the indexes?
If you have can you just confirm what upgrade you have just performed - ie. what was you old version and what are you on now?

The indexes were rebuilt. It was an attempt to apply dictionary upgrade F apparently. Our current version of Recorder is 6.13.3.182

We have restored the pre update version so I can get on with work again. We are going to apply the upgrade to our test environment next week to see if we can get it to work.

Have a go in your test environment - if it is still a problem then maybe send us the database (pre upgrade) and we can have a look here.
