Re: Using the 'Count' panel

I find the 'Count' panel on the first tab of taxon occurrences very useful, however, for specialist recording I set up a separate Measurement Unit of "DAFOR" with just the DAFOR options - helps inexperienced staff to enter records quickly and correctly - unfortunately my DAFOR data is not displayed in the Count panel - is there any way of getting it to display - if not, this then becomes a feature request - could future versions of Recorder allow this functionality

Re: Using the 'Count' panel

There is currently no way of configuring what appears on this panel.  It simply displays a list of count measurements (i.e. those measurements where measurement type is “Abundance” and measurement unit “Count”).

It would indeed be a feature request.

Re: Using the 'Count' panel

I would also like to be able to import DAFOR values in import wizard, so that it would recognise Fa as frequent adult for example

Re: Using the 'Count' panel

If you set up a measurement qualifier, e.g. Coverage, and a measurement unit, e.g. DAFOR, in Abundance in the measurement type term list you will be able to use them to enter DAFOR data via recording cards and the import wizard provided you set the data type for the unit to Text. Note that you can also specify Allowed Values. In the import wizard you will need to select the measurement qualifier/unit combination you have entered under the Taxon Occurrence Data column type.
