Its not a big thing, but it is becoming annoying. I use the Show Metadata toolbar button quite frequently, especially to return the LOCATION_KEY for a location, but also for a lot of other purposes.
Often I then wish to use the value returned in a query or a search. However when I select the text in the metadata window and copy it, it often comes with two non-visible characters at the end (I presume linefeed & carriage return) even though in the metadata window it has a full-stop at the end.
One of the things I often need to do with the key values is to paste them into a MapInfo table which has a field 16 characters wide to receive them, this means that I have to first paste them somewhere else & recopy without the unwanted characters.
This has to be a really easy one to fix, any chance?
