Re: sand lizzard
I have recently spotted what i believe is a sand lizard on dunes near a beach on the Norfolk coast near Great Yarmouth, is this unusual as its not listed as a common site with nbn?

I would recommend getting in touch with the local biodiversity record centre for the area: Norfolk Biodiversity Information Service. They will probably have enough local knowledge to answer your query.
I would also suggest speaking to someone at the Herpetological Conservation Trust. You will probably be asked for evidence that what you saw was actually a Sand Lizard, because they are rare in the UK (and protected, of course). There are a few sites away from their main area in Dorset etc., but very few indeed, and not apparently currently known in Norfolk.
