Thanks, that helped. I did the force_cache_rebuild and now all 4 tables do have records and the map report works. When we go live I'll set up a cron job as described.

That is good but you should check that, if you add more occurrences, the normal call to scheduled_tasks will add them to the cache_occurrences table.
