Topic: Dictionary Upgrade 00000038to3B

This upgrade is now available from the R6 web site.  http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/page-4615
The main change is a new Lepidoptera list. (Agassiz,Beavan & Heckford). There are also other new taxa and changes bringing the R6 Dictionary into line with  the NHM Dictionary at 28/11/2015.

After running this upgrade please rebuild the 4 index tables.

Intermediate taxonomic levels (eg. sub-order) have been implemented in the Organism table for this list, so reporting down the hierarchy from these levels should be possible, but I have not checked this in detail.

Note - Upgrade 0000003B fixes a problem which caused the sort orders in R6 to be corrupted on all taxa. If you have already downloaded and run the upgrade  to 0000003A  then please download and run this upgrade again, or save the attached  00000003B.sql in your scripts folder  and run the dictionary upgrade. All 4 index tables will need rebuilding once the update has been run.

Well done to Chris and his team for getting this together and implemented into the NHM dictionary. I'm sure everything will be fine but I will advise if I find any anomalies while I'm working with it.

Re: Dictionary Upgrade 00000038to3B

Hi there, i have just updated my Recorder database to the latest dicitionary version, and appear to have lost the meadow Brown, Maniola jurtina from the list. The genus is there and 5 subspecies, but the species name isn't. I this intentional?
