My initial though was that it might be to do with the indexes. Did you try rebuilding your indexes Laura?

Hi Laura

This problem has been spotted before - I believe it relates to Recorder not handling old versions of a list (e.g. the FUNGI and LICHENS list) properly, which creates issues with searching and when matching taxa in the import wizard.

We have submitted this to Dorset Software and it will hopefully be fixed in the next version.

Has anyone else found that the FUNGHI & LICHEN checklist in Recorder 6 is prone to crashing? I often have to leave Recorder for 5-10 mins whilst the taxon fictionary finder can deal with what I've asked it to search for. Another problem, is that for almost every species there are no entries, although one of these will always "not be found in the current list".

Has anyone else encountered this? is there something that can be done about it
