Provided that such species are added to the appropriate list by the authority (such as the British Bryological Society for example) and the Natural History Museum, then we should see such changes filter down to Recorder more quickly in future (as a result of this new functionality).

Can we assume that the new patch will enable this kind of update to occur as and when 'new' species are added?
