Petunia x hybrida........ (hook.) P.L. Vilm.)

Sorry a trivial one but every time I search the R3 dictionary for this species and press OK I have to Kill R6 and restart.
I wondered if this is a personal quirk or something anyone else can reproduce?

Re: Petunia x hybrida........ (hook.) P.L. Vilm.)

No it isn't just you Tony, it happens with me as well.

Interestingly I tried navigating to it through the Recorder 3.3 hierarchy instead of searching. As far as I am aware Petunia should be in the Solanaceae, but the genus is not there in the Recorder 3.3 list.

So how is it that the search tool manages to find it in the list?

This may not be as trivial an error as it at first appears, how do we know how many taxa this occurs with?

I'm guessing this taxon has got orphaned in some way, but I'm afraid I find the structure of the taxon dictionary too arcane to be bothered to do the analysis & work out what the problem is for a plant I have never recorded.

Re: Petunia x hybrida........ (hook.) P.L. Vilm.)

Search for any Petunia in the Recorder 3.3 checklist using the search dialogue causes Recorder 6 to crash for me. The whole genus seems to be missing from the family Solanaceae in the hierarchy, but still appears in the search options, so I wonder if this might be the cause. Works OK in the VASCULAR PLANTS checklist. Using 6.13.2.176, with either dictionary G or J.
